Shooting Script

Here's the process of the shooting of my film...

Scene 1:

The establishment was shot on a tripod that I first fixed on an aesthetically pleasing composition of my lawn, the sun provided the perfect light. I shot a tilt of the tree branches above me descending down to the lawn. Since I wanted the same composition but show a jump to nighttime, I left the camera there all day until dark fell, and then continued to shoot another shot of the same composition.

Scene 2:

The following shots were long pans of an empty street, and the reveal of Yousaf's character on a bicycle. A tripod was used for the panning shots to catch that stable and smooth scene. i mounted the camera on the corner of the turns in the streets, because it helped show a wider angle of the location.

This is followed by a static shot of the actor entering home. the eye level shot was made using a tripod, and the low level cinematic was made placing the camera directly on the ground.

Scene 3:

Another static shot of our actor walking up to and sitting on a swing made using a tripod. The next shots is a hand held OTS (over the shoulder), followed by another hand held low angle shot of the phone dropping between Yousaf's legs.

This is interrupted by a long hand held arc shot that goes 180 degrees around Yousaf, reaching his eye level match.

Scene 4:

The antagonist is revealed in a series of short arc shots, the first one starting from the back of a tree. The camera follows the turning head of Ayub ( the actor under the mask). This is followed by a static of the POV (point of view) of what Yousaf sees, showing a full shot of the figure of Ayub's character.

There is a handheld extreme closeup on Yousaf's eyes to show his reaction.

Scene 5:

There is a seemingly high angle shot that I made holding the tripod up in the air to show the distance between the two characters.

A low angle shot of the dropped phone and Yousaf's shoes is followed by a swift tracking shot of Yousaf's feet, as he runs away. A handheld pan shows Yousaf running and bump into Ayub, who was now standing in his way.

An OTS high angle shot of Yousaf then shows him fall on the grass, coming face to face with the antagonist.

Scene 6:

A hand held low angle shot of the antagonist is made, followed by another extreme closeup of Yousaf's eyes, to reveal his expression. Another low angle shot , but this time a POV of Yousaf, showing the antagonist lean over him. Yousaf's closeup reaction is repeated.

There is a final handheld shot with the Moon made to fit between the horns of Ayub's mask.

Scene 7:

The final shots are simple static compositions of empty lifeless locations, all shot using a tripod. The final swing shot being made with a tilt up, relating to the low angle tilt down in the beginning of the opening scene.
