Shooting Schedule

Planning to shoot my final cut at a risky time but better late than never I guess!

The deadline we were given for our final cut all well and ready is February 14th , ironically, Valentine's day.

And we are advised to be done with our film by January 30th , because there is also stuff to do after the final cut.

I'll be planning to start shooting my scene on a weekend, because that is only when I'll be able to gather my actors with me. This week and the next are all full of the mid term exams, so definitely won't be shooting in these two weeks. I'll be free of the exams by Friday, 14th January , but unfortunately my cousins (actors) also have exams for yet another week, so I'll be able to shoot my scene on the very last weekend before the advised deadline, which is Friday, 21st January.

I've planned two nights of shooting, one for the rough scenes and experiments of shots, and then later the final shots, the other for any remaining final shots, reshoots, or additional shots. The following is a simplified plan:

SHOOT DAY 1 : 21st JAN

-Start at night, 12:00 AM to almost 2:00/3:00 AM

-Experimental and rough shots + major final shots.

-planning and sorting in the day to decide the remaining shots.

-finalize story and plan required shots.

SHOOT DAY 2 (Final Day): 22nd JAN

-Continued at 12:00 AM or later, to 3:00 AM

-Complete remaining final shots and reshoots + additionally required shots.

-On spot sorting and checking just incase of need for more shots.

-record all the folly sounds and ambience that is required.

-Compile all the shots in sequence in the day .

And that was the plan I'll be following during the shooting stage. Editing will be carried out along the rest of the week, and I'll have to work fast and focused, and will try to get it done before the end of January
