Mood board

 Presenting my mood board for the opening scene I’ll be shooting, based on the narrative I wrote. 

My story is about a painter who finds pleasure in art and it’s almost like a fetish to him. He took it to so much extreme that he found himself making his works with blood instead of paint, and to obtain that , he had evolved into a secret serial killer, murdering victims for an abundant amount of blood and then erasing the evidence to the last bit for eventual and seeming innocence.

This mood board reveals the classic paintings that represent art today and emphasizes on the blood as the red color scheme is apparent. The messiness reflects the character’s way of painting and how his craze has taken control of him. And as for the blood dripping down the skin, that’s the aesthetic I’m going for. It’s just somewhat pleasing yet terrifying to the eye.
