Finalizing The Genre
What I would love to do is to trick the audience into thinking it’s a calm and happy film , when a sudden abrupt jump cut will take them to a completely opposite genre!
My new narrative is set in a foggy night, which immediately reminds you of a creepy place and that it’s a scene from a horror genre, so instead, I’ll be starting off with a bright day in the beautiful lawn of the backyard, as the camera tilts down on the scenery, when suddenly, an abrupt jump cut flips the genre, and turns the happy view into a dark and spooky backyard , with the mist adding to the horror. This contrast will flip the expectations of the viewer and excite them for what’s next !
I'm finalizing my genre to horror and mystery! which is a very enjoyable genre for an audience that loves thrill and want to be moved by the film. It also creates a lot of suspense and is an experience in a paranormal world.
