Emergence: Editing

  Finding my way through Premiere Pro with the skills I’ve learned to edit my film into the final cut…

Honestly, I’ve found the layout of this editing platform a little messy and complicated, when it could be a lot easier, but I’ll have to face the challenges and try my best to produce a nice and well edited final product. 

I did import the footage into my iPad for a rough cut on an app called Videoleap. I use that app a lot for editing short videos on my phone or iPad, and it helped me organise the clips in the right sequence, so that I don’t face any confusion when I’m arranging them in Premiere Pro. 

Editing , or post-production is the most important and time consuming stage of making a film, that is why I’ll be focusing most on this stage, and will most likely experiment with different versions to see which one is most fitting and more impactful. I’ll always keep the audience’s eye in mind, so that I know how my decisions in filming and editing is gonna effect them. There are always reasons of how you see the film was made. It affects the audience even usually without them even realizing. Till then, let’s see what I’ll end up with.
