Character Design
Here are the rough character sketches I'm planning to put in my film, but you never know, decisions can change on spot too.
Protagonist: A teen who loves taking night strolls in the streets, cycling. He's never seemed to be frightened of going out alone and instead enjoys it. He also spends some of his time swinging in his backyard under the dark sky, listening to tunes and podcasts. For the cold nights, He'll be dressed in a hoodie, and warm pajamas, with a scarf around his neck. Let's give him a random name, since his name won't be revealed in this opening scene anyway, I like "Alden".
A sketched visualization of Alden:
Antagonist: I really want the antagonist to not be a person, but feel like an entity, a presence. I want the antagonist to be a feeling, among the mist, a disturbance. That unsettling feeling will be what messes with the protagonist. Whatever is in the mist has the ability to cause delusions in the mind, and the Alden will be falling in this trap.
Sketched visualization of the antagonist (subject to change):
