The Photowalk!

 Our school arranged a photowalk at Lake View Park , Islamabad! and we were to snap photographs at the Bird Aviary.

It was a nice sunny day with the opportunity of bright vibrant photos. I was equipped with a DSLR Nikon D5300 , using a 55mm-200mm lens, which is a good choice for close up shots, and I like taking those :)

Back home from the photowalk , editing and listening to some tunes :)

Had loads of fun interacting with birds for once , enough of humans. Although some birds were used to people, many of them just wouldn't stay still! but that became the very challenge. It was just a beautiful experience capturing such extraordinary creatures in action. Here are a few photos I finalized ;

I edited most of these in a dreamy way because that is the vibe birds give me , elegance and peace, and I also shot a cleaner just brushing away leaves. It was a pleasing frame . I'm only proud of a few of these , but glad I got the experience and can learn to do better next time.
I really enjoyed my time with the birds , and some of my friends being there as company felt good too. it was a nice overall vibe.

Sorting out my final photographs, all edited to my preference.

What annoyed me is how poorly the Aviary was being managed , and no freedom was given to the birds , most of the walking birds were out but they had caged the flying ones in tight and narrow cages. Its sad to see that they barley get to use their wings. plus, the area wasn't clean enough too, while the bipeds walked. But oh well, this is how it is in this country , animals have no voice , so no rights :(

A little ironic sketch of a bird about to get shot! but with a camera! :D
