Selecting a Genre

 For my opening scene , I’ve chosen a THRILLER genre, along with HORROR…

Since my story will feature a serial killer artist , this narrative fits in the thriller genre , which usually umbrella all the psychopath and serial killer films out there, thanks to the gruesome and violent acts featured in the films , moving the audience and disturbing their view. 

American Psycho (2000) is a major inspiration. Thriller and horror genres create suspense and curiosity in the story , and that’s what I’ll have to catch in my opening scene.
