Light Study

 Played around with a little bicycle light in the dark, and made a a fun short video :)

By experimenting with different angles of light falling on my face, I had the idea to create a shot where the light source is behind my head and slowly shines and turns around my face, revealing it's structure by the way the light ray falls on it. It reminded me of the opening of the movie 2001 : A Space Odyssey, where the sun rises in space, revealing the spherical shapes of the Earth and Moon. While editing the shot, I raised the contrast and exposure to make the light more sharp and prominent. I also added a flare and made it track the light i was moving around my face with my hand, to make it look like a sun haha. I used music from Labrinth's song "Forever" as it matched the vibe. Here is how it turned out :)
