Impact of Shots!

Today we were given our first quick group task ;

In our lesson we learnt about how shots have an impact on the audience. Hence , we were given a scenario , of which we had to make a short video about , and make use of the angle of shots we are gonna shoot from.

Sir made groups of three and four , and I got to work with Zarlash and Bareera. the scene is of a young girl who annoys a woman by ringing her bell and running away right after, but this time she gets caught. I shot the film with my iPhone. we quickly came up with dialogues and I had them act the scene out. 

To show the dominance and fear of the annoyed and cross woman (Zarlash) , I had the camera held below (low-angle shot)  , so that the audience gets a feeling of being cornered and warned upon. Meanwhile the little naughty girl (Bareera), has her shot done from a higher angle (high-angle shot) , to show how isolated and helpless she is in the situation. 

this was a decent exercise for a first time , and as time goes by , practice will help improve my work , but for the meantime , I had fun with my two partners while making this little clip. see ya next time with more stuff !
